Darkness cannot block out the Son.

No matter how big your mountain is, it cannot block the Son.
These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.

What came into existence in him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light goes on shining in the dark; it is not overcome by the dark.

Most of us at one time or another experienced a dark room and like most of us, we frantically feel the wall for the light switch. The moment you flip the switch, the darkness flees and so does all of your anxieties.
This anology holds true for your spiritual walk. Anxieties and trials places us in a dark world but once we surrender to Jesus and allow our Lord to flip our proverbial heart switches, darkness flees. Our burdens have been lifted for darkness cannot extinguish light.

We are living in a world troubled with chaos and sickness. We are surely hard pressed at every side but I am here to remind us all that Jesus has overcome the world. Trust in our Lord.

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Matthew 11:28-29

Darkness comes to those who reject the Lord and refuse to come to Him and be saved. May God save them. May He show mercy on the humanists and agnostics who do not believe Jesus was the Savior and Lord of everyone of us.

Two days ago I was talking to my cousin in America who is a dedicated Jehovah's Witness about the state of crime and violence in my country.All of a sudden the types of crime that are occuring are unbelievable and the frequency is alarming as well as the sudden spike in just a matter of days.It was so much so .tothe extent that two countries had placed warnings for visitors to avoid coming here.Just to give an example "Amother teamed up with her daughter to kill her son .then mutilated him and burried his body in a shallow grave in a clump of bushes behind their house.
In another incident a father shot his son when he found out that he was gay.After he died he again pumped seven more bullets in his body in public view.A man in his twenties committed buggery on a five year old boy and on the same day it was reported that a well mannered and obedient innocent fourteen year old girl was sent to visit her grandparent who was in walking distance from her home in the early hours was seized annd taken to a house where she was " buggered" by five men and was badly damaged and hospitalized.I said to my cousin that Satan's kingdom is raging and that the Devil is working overtime. She replied that Satan has no kingdom.There is only one kingdom which belongs to Jehovah.
I would like to hear your views collectively on this conversation.

Just a play on words.Darkness can never block out the son neither can darkness block out the sun.In the beginning there was darkness and on the first day God said "Let there be light !" and it was so.
The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light.They that dwell in the land of the shadow of death upon them had the light shined.(Isaiah 9v2)In st John chapter 1 we read: In the beginning was the word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.......In Him was the life and the life was the light of menAnd the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.Whether Sun or Son nothing nor no one can dominate. Jesus the Son of God is the supreme light which dominates .He is Lord of all.

Can you love someone without freedom? Do you believe that we are all automatons? Freedom breeds a myriad of issues.
Divine Love is a choice. It says no matter what is happening around me I will still love.
No matter what manner of hell lies on this earth, the Kingdom of God dwells inside us.
It is our Commission to 'not only' tell the world about His Kingdom but show the love of His Kingdom.
Persecution is imminent but God prevails. Jesus has overcome.
This universe belongs to our Father. It is our responsibility to rise over the circumstances.
We need to have a healthy balance between what the devil has done and what man continues to do.
As for me, I will Love my God with all my strenght, all my mind, and all my heart.

"If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me,
And the light around me will be night,”
12 Even darkness is not dark to You,
And the night is as bright as the day.
Darkness and light are alike to You."
