We are glad to join with you in prayer and offer support for your dad's speech. Firstly, let us thank God for giving your dad the gift of communication. It is through His grace that we can speak to others. Let's pray that your dad uses this gift first and foremost to glorify God.
In Colossians 3:17 WEB it says, Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him. We know that our abilities are from the Lord. The scripture reminds us to do all things in the name of the Lord Jesus. We must also acknowledge that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we should give thanks to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. We see that in Acts 4:12, there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Also, we would like to remind you to fully believe in Jesus Christ. The Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. It is only through faith in Him that we can access God.
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up our ### to You, Lord. We know that it is in Your power that he is able to speak. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom to fill his heart and mind as he prepares for this speech. Help him to speak clearly, boldly, and with confidence. Let his words be gracious, seasoned with salt, and a blessing to all who hear. Colossians 4:6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one. Our prayers are in Jesus name.
