I was always told to be honest, so, I could honestly say, my prayers to the Lord in 2020 were a bust...and came back void....so...Do I continue to pray to an empty promise....ask and he shall receive?....crap!?....you tell me?....2019 was a bust as well....Jesus does not answer prayer.....all you believers .....what if it was just you that made it happen for you?...Where is Jesus in this?.......And if you pray how many fruitless years to this empty God?...should I continue?.....My prayers did indeed come back void from our awesome God!!!.....I tell the truth!!..now what?....Do I get punished for speaking the truth....Prayer is powerful my ass!!!!...is how I see it!!!!

I have been angry in the past about things like this. God still loves me and even though I am in a storm again these days I know he is God and he has the big picture in mind. I don't like the waiting, but I trust God. I don't like the hurting, but I trust God. I have no where else to turn. I pray for you to see Gods love even in this time you call "a bust".

Praying is not a wish list. Praying is talking to the Father like one would do with their earthly father. My father on earth seldom give me what I wanted but he always provided for my needs to the best of his ability.
There's no genie in the bottle in praying. You seldom get what you want but you do get bless with the necessities. However there's power in faith but I can see by your answer that you have little belief in it. Those with plenty of faith do get bless but I won't try to change your view for you have full autonomy. Prayers work for me. I'm sorry it doesn't work for you.

Am not sure what you are going through and how painful it is . I did ask the same question on where is God when someone is raped or tortured or any accidents happen.
One thing for sure is "God is powerful" and nothing can compare to him and he is not our personal ATM machine where we just pray and he provide what we wish for.

He wants us to be strong when nothing works, build our character and try to help others with little what we can . If you see all the cases, its all human being effecting other human whether its case of Rape or torture or accidents due to rash driving or negligence .

God has always given a choice to every human being to make the decision . He can choose Good to do or he can choose bad . he has given us that wish and he didnt make us robots .

If you are honest and in pain, you are actually building yourself as stronger than before and the journey will be tough . Just pray to him and he will give you strength to overcome those problems and that power comes only through God .

We may not appreciate what we have until we lose them . You can see, write and speak and this is all blessing and someone who cant do that knows how much we are blessed .

I dont know if you read all this. But want to say pray to him to give you strength to overcome trouble.

Continue !!! Don't throw away your faith. Pray and not stop, be patient. Jesus Christ is the Lord. God answers prayers in His chosen season according to His Will . God loves us. We must trust and be faithful. God listen to our prayers and He doesn't sleep nor slumber working every good for us in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He is making every way straight. When your answers come you will rejoice and have His peace. May Almighty God bless you by the power of his Holy spirit, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am praying for all the members of this forum and their families. May God answer all our prayers. May God walk before us, guide us in His Will and faithfulness. We must not lose hope. God is faithful, He will deliver in the right time. God is love. God will supply all our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen

Good morning my friend, please don't say that, we all go through our own struggle's in life, I wouldn't lie to you,I sometimes feel like God is far away from me, but I came to understand that's what the devil want us to believe so we will give up on God, remember that this life is short compared to everlasting life and this comes only through Jesus Christ,..,... please don't give up my friend, your prayer will be answered in Jesus name I prayer God bless you
