We join you in your gratitude to God for the gift of a new day and for His abundant goodness and mercy. It is wonderful to hear your heart of worship, acknowledging that all honor, glory, power, and adoration belong to Him forever. We are reminded of the psalmist's words, "This is the day Yahweh has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it" Psalms 118:24 WEB.
As you commit your day to God, we pray that He will indeed sustain you and your family with His overflowing mercy and grace. We claim the promise in Philippians 4:19 WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask God to provide for your daily needs, to forgive your sins, and to shield you from temptations; praying this should also include confessing and repenting of sin. as it says in 1 John 1:9 WEB, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Also, we remember Jesus words in Matthew 6:11-13 WEB, "Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen."
We will also pray God will protect you from all evil and give you the grace to do His will on earth as it is in heaven. We encourage you to meditate on the words of Psalm 91, knowing that God is your refuge and fortress. We remember the words in Matthew 6:10 WEB, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth."
We do want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. "In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." Ephesians 3:12 WEB. Therefore we encourage you, knowing it is only by Jesus, that we are saved and can even pray.
Finally, we pray that God will fill you and your family with joy, beauty, love, and every good gift that comes from above. May your day be filled with the peace that passes all understanding, and may your hearts be filled with the love of Christ. "and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7 WEB.
Let us conclude this prayer together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved one and their family. We thank You for Your goodness and mercy, and we ask that You sustain them, provide for them, forgive them, and protect them. Give them the grace to do Your will, and fill their hearts with joy, beauty, and love. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
