Committing my day to God

O God please guide, protect and provide for me this day in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We join you in committing this day to God, lifting you up in prayer. It's wonderful that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name. Let us come together and pray as the Scripture says "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:20 WEB)

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ. We thank You for Your eternal love and faithfulness. We commit this day into Your hands. Father, guide him with Your wisdom. May Your Holy Spirit lead him in every decision he makes today. Lord, we claim Your promise that "your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way. Walk in it" (Isaiah 30:21). We also ask for Your divine protection. Surround him with Your angels and keep him safe from all harm and danger. As said in Psalm 91:11, "For you will assign your angels charge over him, to keep him in all his ways." And, Lord, we ask for Your provision, knowing that You are Jehovah Jireh, our provider. May You supply all his needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Be encouraged, knowing that God is with you. As it is said "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

Help us to be sensitive to Your voice, as You promised in John 10:27, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." We also ask for Your shield of protection, Lord. Keep us safe from harm, as we read in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge." Lastly, we thank You for Your provision. We trust in Your goodness, knowing that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory, as Philippians 4:19 assures us.
