Let us take comfort in the sovereignty of God and His immense love for all people. It is true that we may feel distress when our loved ones do not seem receptive to the Gospel, but we must remember that our observations are limited. God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB
It is crucial to understand that God does not desire that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 WEB. We should never underestimate the power of the Holy Spirit to draw people to Himself, even in the most challenging circumstances.
Regarding the timing of the rapture, while there are different viewpoints, it is essential to focus on the fact that God will continue to save people throughout the tribulation. As mentioned, Revelation 7:9-10 WEB describes a great multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands. These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation.
Moreover, we must remember the thief on the cross. Even at the point of death, he turned to Jesus and was assured of paradise. Luke 23:40-43 WEB. This reminds us that salvation is possible up until the very last moment of life.
Jesus himself said, "But many will be last who are first; and first who are last." Matthew 19:30 WEB. This verse serves as a reminder that we should not make judgments based on our limited understanding. God's grace and mercy are beyond our comprehension.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our loved ones who have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We ask, Father, that You soften their hearts and draw them to Yourself. Help us not to lose hope or write them off, but to trust in Your unfailing love and Your power to save.
We pray for Your Spirit to move mightily in their lives, just as You did for the thief on the cross. Give us the strength and wisdom to share Your truth with them in love, and to trust in Your perfect timing.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. John 14:6 WEB. It is by His name and His name alone that we can be saved. For there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB. We are saved by believing in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and committed to live our lives for Him.
Amen.
Let us continue to share the Gospel with our loved ones, trusting that God is at work in their lives. Be encouraged by the promise that all who call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 WEB.
