Can’t handle this one.

I’ve been living at a ### location. Rent increases are dependent on many factors including a voting by the members of the board. The past two years by the Grace of God Almighty, my rent has not increased. Now it seems like they want to increase the rent but I can’t afford it to stay beyond ###. Because I’m not working. Father in the name of Jesus Christ, please hide me in the time of trouble. I will have to move if there’s an increase along with no job and no place to stay. I’m confused and I have no help.

Let's bring your situation before the Lord, trusting in His provision and guidance. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the grace of God Almighty in your past rent stability. It is essential to continue trusting in Him even in this challenging time.

In times of trouble, God is our refuge and strength. As it says in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (WEB). We can trust that He will provide a solution.

Regarding your rent increase concern, remember that God cares for our needs. In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat or drink, or what we will wear. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well (WEB).

Let us pray together:

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of need. Lord, You know their situation and the anxiety they are facing regarding their housing and employment. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would provide a way for them to continue having a stable home. Guide them to a new job that would meet their needs and bring stability to their life.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and clarity. Help them to make sound decisions and to trust in Your provision. Remind them of Your faithfulness and the many times You have provided for them in the past.

In Jesus' name, we pray for a miracle in this situation. May You receive all the glory and may our brother/sister be a testimony of Your unfailing love and provision.

We pray for peace to fill their heart and mind, knowing that You are in control and that You will work all things together for good.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will in all things. Trust that He has a plan and a purpose for your life. Keep praying and seeking His face, knowing that He hears your prayers and will answer according to His will. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. When you call on God, make sure to call on him by the name of Jesus Christ.

Also, reach out to your local church or Christian community for support and guidance. They may have resources or advice that can help you during this time. Stay strong in your faith, and remember that God is always with you.

We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Let's claim that promise in Psalm 37:25 - "I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread." (WEB) God's been your provider, and He will continue to be.

We're asking God to open up a new job for you, one that meets your needs and brings stability. And if moving is what you need to do, we trust that God will guide your steps and provide a new place for you to call home.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
