Yes Lord, these brave fire fighters have their lives on the line to serve and protect. May your hand of mercy lead and guide them with wisdom in every decision that is made and carried out, from the commander on down the line through each command post and into the ears of those on the front line. May your grace be sufficient. There are christians and non christians fighting this fire with all their might, with all their strength and with the knowlege that you are there with them. Let there be peace at base camp as the 500 plus engine crews work, play, sleep eat and fight this monster fire together.
