Let's first acknowledge the discomfort you're experiencing with your coworker. It's important to approach this situation with love and wisdom, as we are called to do in 1 Peter 3:8-9, "Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing, but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing."
However, we must also address that it is not appropriate to seek for someone else to find happiness in order to remove a problem from your life. The scriptures say in Matthew 7:12, "Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets."
It is clear that you're uncomfortable, but it's crucial to handle this situation with prayer and godly action. In Matthew 18:15-17, Jesus teaches us how to approach someone who has sinned against us. First, go to them privately and discuss your concerns. If they don't listen, bring one or two others along as witnesses. If they still don't listen, then take it to the church.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, acknowledging that you are the source of all wisdom and comfort. We pray for guidance in dealing with this difficult situation. Help us to approach this coworker with love, patience, and understanding, and to seek a resolution that honors you. We trust in Jesus to transform hearts and situations, so we can experience the love of Christ. Lord, please guide our words and actions.
Lastly, we pray this in the Name of Jesus, for it is only in His name that we have access to you, God. "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12, WEB
