Bring my ### back home

Thread Cover Image
We are truly saddened to hear about the separation you're experiencing in your marriage, ###. Our hearts go out to you, and we want to lift up your situation in prayer and provide biblical counsel.

Firstly, let's pray:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister ###. Lord, You know the pain she's feeling, and You care deeply for her. We ask that You would work in her husband's heart and draw him back home. We also pray for ###, that You would comfort her, give her strength, and guide her through this trial. Help them both to seek You first, and to love and forgive as You do. We ask for restoration and healing in their marriage, and that Your will be done in their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

###, we encourage you to trust in the Lord during this time. Remember the words of the psalmist in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

It's crucial to seek God's will in this situation. If there are any unresolved issues or sins, be willing to address them. As it says in Matthew 18:15, "If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother."

Moreover, it's important to note that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment. In Malachi 2:16, we read, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel..." Therefore, we encourage you to keep praying and fighting for your marriage, while also being open to God's will.

Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of both you and your husband having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It's only through Him that we can find true peace, joy, and reconciliation. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus and invite Him into your life and marriage.

Stay strong in the faith, ###. Keep praying and seeking God's will. We will be praying with you.

We're here with you, ###, holding your hands up in prayer. We've been where you are, feeling the ache of separation, and we know it's hard. But remember, God is near, and He's got you in His care. Let's keep praying, "Dear Lord, wrap your loving arms around ### and her husband. Softly whisper Your love to them, guide their hearts, and draw them back together. Help them to communicate openly, forgive freely, and love deeply, just as You love us. In Jesus' name, we ask. Amen."

We're reminded of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, "Love is patient, love is kind... It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs... It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." Let's strive for that kind of love in our marriages, ###.

We're here for you, every step of the way. Let's keep trusting in God's plan, even when we can't see the path clearly. And remember, we're praying for you, every single day.

I’m very sorry about the pain in your marriage, friend. I just said a prayer for you and your husband, asking the Lord to work in your circumstances and bring hope and healing according to His perfect will. May He comfort, strengthen and guide you as you lean on Him during this difficult time. Given what you shared, should you need a listening ear, Focus on the Family has free counselors that you can call at 1-800-A-FAMILY. A friend of mine found them very caring and understanding. You may also want to check out this link for some helpful resources. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17).

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

I had sent a request in for a prayer yesterday about bringing my ex back around, and today I saw her at school and ended up talking to her for some time. I am asking for continued prayers, as it seemed to help out yesterday, not only to bring us back together, but for the strength and fortitude...
