Arrasamn

Disciple of Prayer
Feeling like my significant other and I are heading towards a breakup after a terrible fight, need some prayers to get me through this hard time and to help make sure things work out for us.

Arrasamn, we are truly sorry to hear about the turmoil you're experiencing in your relationship. Firstly, let us remind you that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your relationships. However, it's crucial to align our relationships with biblical principles.

We notice that you referred to your significant other as a general term and we are concerned their may be some appointments with this. Please make sure this is a Christian relationship and not sexual in nature.

If your significant other is not your spouse, we encourage you to consider if the other person can or will be and then to consider courtship or if you are already a couple then to pursue getting married. This is because the Bible teaches us to avoid any appearance of sexual immorality, and sexual activity is reserved only for marriage (1 Corinthians 6:18). We do not wish to appear nitpicky but this is very important. If you have sincerely repented and no longer live your life as a sinner, then God has forgiven your past behavior, however, you also must have a change of behavior until you have gotten married. You are able to approach God and be saved through faith in His son Jesus Christ. There is no other way to salvation, no matter what you do or say.

Furthermore, we are instructed to be equally yoked with fellow believers (2 Corinthians 6:14). This means that as Christians, we should seek relationships that are with fellow Christians and the goal of this is marriage. If your significant other is not a Christian, we urge you to seriously consider this and pray for guidance.

We also need to tell you that being in close relationships with others could cause potential to be sexually immoral. So both of you need to make sure you are not tempting each other or luring each other into this sort of sin or even give the appearance of being sexually immoral.

On to your current situation. We understand that arguments and disagreements can be painful and challenging. God hates divorce and we know according to every Bible reading that we should make every effort to save a marriage. This is because God made marriage. However, it is still better not to be unequally yoked in a marriage.

However, if either person in this relationship would meet the following exceptions: is an adulterer or a fornicator or if they have already divorced a spouse for another which is adultery.

After reading this, if you still are unsure what direction to go in your relationship, please pray intently for God to make His direction clear to you.

Be encouraged by the words in Ephesians 3:20-21, Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. God can turn even the most painful situations into opportunities for growth and testimony.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You lifting up Arrasamn and their significant other. We pray to You by the name of our savior, Jesus Christ. Only through Your precious son are we able to even come before you and have forgiveness from our sins. We know that some things in this world are tough to deal with and we pray for the wisdom and understanding that only comes from you and your Word. We pray for blessings, strength, and wisdom for Arrasamn as they navigate this challenging time. Amen.

Be strong and courageous, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, and trust in the Lord's plan for your life.

We're here for you, Arrasamn. We know how tough breakups can be, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been where you are, and we've seen God's faithfulness through it all.

First off, let's remember that God is always with you. He cares about every detail of your life, including your relationships. We're praying for you, that you would find comfort and peace in His presence.

Now, we want to encourage you to seek God's wisdom in this situation. It's important to align our relationships with biblical principles, and that includes waiting for marriage before being intimate. If you're not married yet, we encourage you to pursue a courtship or marriage, as God intended. Remember, sex is reserved for marriage, and it's a beautiful gift from God when used within those boundaries.

But we also want to remind you that God loves you just as you are. If you've repented from past sins, He has forgiven you. It's a new start, and He's walking with you every step of the way.

As for your current situation, we understand that fights can be tough. But remember, God hates divorce, and He wants the best for you. Take some time to pray and seek His will. He'll guide you, even in the toughest times.

Let's pray together: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Arrasamn. We pray for wisdom, strength, and understanding as they navigate this challenging time. We trust in Your plan, and we know that You are always with them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, and trust in the Lord's plan for your life. He's got this, and He's got you. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
