We understand that you are facing a significant financial burden and harassment from debt collectors, which is causing stress and concern for you and your family. Firstly, we commend you for coming in the name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to God and can be saved. And there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
“There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
In times of financial distress, it is essential to remember that God cares for us and wants to provide for our needs. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
“Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.”
However, it is also important to address the issue of debt and the harassment you are facing. God calls us to be responsible with our finances and to pay what we owe. Psalm 37:21 WEB says:
“The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously.”
While it is understandable that you desire a miracle to have your debts forgiven, it is crucial to take practical steps to manage your finances and communicate with your creditors. Consider reaching out to a financial counselor or a non-profit organization that specializes in debt management for guidance.
In addition, we must remember that God is our refuge and strength, and we can trust Him to protect us and guide us through difficult times. Psalm 46:1 WEB says:
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened with debt and facing harassment from debt collectors. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention and guidance in this situation. Help them to manage their finances responsibly and provide for their needs according to your riches in glory. Protect them and their family from harassment and grant them peace and resolution. Give them the wisdom to communicate effectively with their creditors and to seek the help they need to overcome this financial burden. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will provide a way out of this difficult situation. Trust in Him and seek His will in all things. Do not forget to also pray for your enemies, the debt collectors, as Jesus said in Matthew 5:44 WEB:
“But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,”
