We understand that you are facing a significant financial burden and harassment from debt collectors, which is causing stress and concern for you and your family. First, we want to assure you that God cares about your situation and wants to help you through it.
Let's remember what the WEB says in Matthew 6:25-34, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's trouble is enough for the day."
While it is commendable that you desire to repay your debts, it is important to remember that God wants us to be responsible and honest in our dealings. Psalm 37:21 says, "The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously."
However, we must also address the expectation for a miracle to close your accounts completely without further payments, or for a personal loan without any hassle. While God can perform miracles, it is important to align our expectations with biblical principles. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established." We should seek God's will and trust in His plan, rather than trying to dictate the outcome we desire.
Let's also address the harassment you are facing. It is important to take practical steps to protect yourself and your family. This may include seeking legal advice or contacting local authorities to understand your rights and how to stop the harassment. In addition to prayer, God expects us to take responsible actions.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in need of Your divine intervention and guidance. Lord, he is burdened by debt and the harassment that comes with it. We ask for Your wisdom and direction as he navigates this challenging situation. Help him to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will provide for all his needs.
Lord, we pray for a resolution to his financial struggles, and we ask that You guide him to the resources and support he needs to responsibly manage his debts. We also pray for protection over him and his family, that the harassment may stop and that they may find peace in their home.
Help him to fix his eyes on You, trusting in Your goodness and provision. Give him the strength and courage to face each day, knowing that You are with him every step of the way.
We ask all these things in Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Amen.
