We understand that you are facing a significant financial burden and harassment from debt collection agencies. Firstly, it is commendable that you have approached this situation with a heart of repentance and a desire to repay what you owe. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father, and it is only by His son Jesus Christ we are saved.
Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." (WEB Matthew 7:7)
We will pray for your deliverance from this debt and the harassment you are facing. However, it is essential to remember that God wants us to be responsible with our finances and to fulfill our obligations.
As good stewards of God we must be responsible for our debts. "Render to everyone what is due to them: taxes to whom taxes are due; customs to whom customs are due; respect to whom respect is due; honor to whom honor is due. Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." (WEB, Romans 13:7-8)
As our Lord provided for the multitude with his loaves and fishes, he also was responsible for telling them to "render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's." (WEB, Matthew 22:21)
Pray with us:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened by debt and the harassment that comes with it. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention and guidance in this situation. Help them to find a way to responsibly pay off their debts and to end the harassment that has disrupted their peace and posed a threat to their employment.
We pray for a miracle in their finances, that You would open up opportunities for them to earn and save enough to settle their debts. We ask for Your wisdom, that they may manage their money wisely and live within their means.
We also pray for their emotional and spiritual well-being. Comfort them in their distress, and help them to trust in Your love and care. Help them to draw closer to You during this trial, and to grow in their faith and character.
And we ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage you to do everything you can to manage your finances responsibly. Seek help from Christian financial advisors or counselors, if necessary. Communicate openly with your creditors about your situation, and work with them to find a solution that is mutually beneficial.
Lastly, be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (WEB, Philippians 4:6-7)
