It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her family. We pray for Your peace to reign in her home, today and every day. Lord, we bring her husband before You, asking for Your intervention in his struggle with alcohol. Help him to resist the temptation to drink, and give him the strength to control himself, so that peace may be maintained in their family. Please guide them both through this challenging time, and bring them closer to You and to each other. We pray for his healing in Jesus name.
Father, we also ask for Your blessings and protection over their family as they enter the new year. We pray that You would secure them from all problems, including financial difficulties.
