Beloved of All
Father, I bless my Dad. Thank You for creative ways to honor him (Eph 6:2-3). I pray You grant him wisdom (the principle thing, Prov 4:7), faith, hope, love (the greatest of these is love), 1 Cor 13:13), joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control (against which things there is no law, Gal 5:22-23), contentment (with which godliness is a means of great gain, 1 Tim 6:6), the 66 Books of Scripture (Deut 8:3, Ps 119:160, John 17:17, 2 Tim 3:16), encouraging news (Prov 25:25), & godly entertainment (Ps 101:3). Help him to rule over his household (1 Tim 3:4-5), financial matters (Matt 25:14-30) and to be able to take advice when it’s correct (Ecc 4:13). Protect him from deception and lies (Prov 30:8), help me tell him some good jokes (Prov 17:22), and may Your will be done in His life (Matt 6:10). Protect him from temptation, evil, evil people and the evil one himself (Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:2-3). May the evil one not touch him (1 John 5:18). I ask the same for my descendants, that Your Holy Spirit and Word will continue with them forever to many generations should You tarry (Isaiah 59:21). Thank you in Jesus' Name.
God says that if two people agree in prayer He will answer that prayer.
He puts it this way:
Matthew 18:19
19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
I will be praying in agreement with all of your prayers from now on.
