Bible names code, hinds' feet

A few years ago, the Lord gave me a study Bible. Since then (with breaks in between during times of grievous sins) I've been trying to read all the way through for the first time. I confess that when reading the genealogies, it was difficult to see how it benefits us to read lists of ancient names. I prayed that God would show us how each of his words, each little mark even, is profitable to the body.

Luke 4:4

He showed me this! It's very interesting. They took some liberty with choosing the name translations and adding prepositions, but if you click detailed notes on each name it shows all the possible translations. Hope you enjoy!

Hinds' feet are hooves, like these ibex (wild goats) have. Because of them, they are able to impossibly scale this dam in Italy, which is about 80 degrees, near vertical! Even without footholds, they climb straight up. These verses remind us that Jesus is able to enable us to do the impossible. He makes our steps sure. Thank you Jesus! <3

This is an open window for us to see the greatness of our God and wants to speak down deep to our hearts and minds through codes that sometimes we do not understand. Too brilliant to forget those stories that came out of Jericho destruction. Seven times going around and then the walls came tumbling down. The mighty power of God show us that we must hear and obey His voice.

Listening to the Lord enables us to know what to do in any circumstance. The fulness of God extends far beyond all of creation, which He holds in His hands. We can never comprehend all of Him, yet He reveals so many mysteries and secrets to us, as simple as we are. Meditating in His Word renews our mind, and circumcises our heart, which manifests in our actions. It gives us the power to be like Jesus! <3
