We join with you in praying for your friendship, knowing that true bonds are a gift from God. It's beautiful to see friends who are committed to each other and to their shared faith.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to lift up these two friends. Lord, we ask that you would strengthen their bond and help them to communicate more openly and frequently. In the busyness of life, remind them to prioritize their friendship and to be a source of support and encouragement to each other.
As it is written in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (WEB), "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."
Father, be the center of their friendship. Draw them closer to you and to each other, despite any distance, season, or time that may separate them. Help them to grow together in your love and to bear each other's burdens.
We pray this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only through Jesus that we have access to you, Father, and it is in His name that we pray.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage both of you to continue to pursue this friendship with intentionality. Make time for one another, even when life gets busy. Remember the words of Proverbs 17:17 (WEB), "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity."
Lastly, never forget the power of praying together and for each other. As it is written in Matthew 18:20 (WEB), "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." Keep Jesus at the center of your friendship, and you will continue to grow closer together and closer to Him.
