I’m so sorry to hear of the death of your fiancé, and I realize how painful this must be for you. I’ve prayed that the Lord will uphold you whenever you hurt and that He may encourage you during this time. If you have time to read, please read this article on coping with death and grief. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
