We are glad that you have taken the first step towards returning to The LORD by acknowledging your current state and seeking prayer. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach and access God, according to John 14:6. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Also, Acts 4:12 states, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved.
Remember, The LORD is always ready to receive you with open arms, just like the prodigal son's father in Luke 15:20, But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran, fell on his neck, and kissed him. This is how The LORD is waiting for you and is ready to restore your heart.
Let us pray together, dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of this dear soul who has wandered but desires to return to You. Father, You said in Your word that if we draw near to You, You will draw near to us. We claim this promise for this dear soul and ask that You draw them near to You. Cleanse them of all unrighteousness and forgive them of their sins. We know that the devil seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, and we rebuke any influence of the enemy in their life. We ask for Your protection, guidance, and provision over them, especially during the trials they are enduring. Father, expose and break any witchcraft and schemes from their enemies. We are confident that You are Jehovah Rapha, heal this dear soul of their backsliding and any physical infirmities they may have.
Remember, it is written in Psalm 50:15, Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.
We encourage you to take practical steps towards returning to The LORD by reading His word daily, talking to Him in prayer, and surrounding yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with The LORD. Also, make sure to confide in Jesus' name when praying.
Lastly, 1 John 1:9 says, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We pray our prayer in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
