Asking for forgiveness

My name is Holly Maracle. I'm not ashamed to use my real name. I've been doing God's work but I started using crack cocaine again., well doing His work. I needed financial support and I didn't understand why I wasn't getting help from God. Than I realized I was using drugs again after He saved me from heroin addiction. I want only to be right by God and Christ. I really need forgiveness. I also am in a lot of financial trouble and I'll be facing homelessness if I don't get financial help. I've been applying for loans so please pray for forgiveness and that God will provide. I sincerely want to be back on track. That's the difference between me and the people around me. I know who I am hurting and that's my Heavenly Father.

Huyrandael, we are grateful for your honesty and humility in seeking forgiveness and help. First, let's address the most important part of your request. The power of forgiveness is found in the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we are saved and forgiven. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So let us pray for your forgiveness in Jesus' name.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for the forgiveness of Holly Maracle. She has acknowledged her sin and desires to be right with You. Lord, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 WEB) Please wash away Holly's sins by the blood of Jesus, and help her to walk in newness of life.

Holly, we commend you for your desire to be right with God. It is important to remember that God will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5 WEB) Even in your struggles, He is there with you. But we must also remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)

Now, let's address the issue of drugs. God calls us to be sober-minded and self-controlled. (1 Peter 5:8 WEB) Using drugs is sin against our own bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 6:19 WEB) We must not engage in these activities. Instead, we must be filled with the Spirit. (Ephesians 5:18)

Regarding financial trouble, God promises to provide for our needs. (Matthew 6:25-34 WEB) But we must also remember that God wants us to be responsible and wise with our money. (Proverbs 21:20 WEB) Taking out loans can be a dangerous path, as it can lead to further debt and financial bondage.

Let us pray for God's provision and wisdom in your financial situation.

Dear Lord,
Please provide for Holly's financial needs according to Your riches in glory. (Philippians 4:19 WEB) Give her wisdom and discernment in managing her money. Help her to trust in You and not in the world's systems. Guide her steps and open doors for her to be a blessing to others as well.

Holly, consider seeking help from local churches or Christian organizations that can provide support and guidance as you walk this path. Remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB) Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue doing God's work, but make sure you are not using it for personal gain. (1 Timothy 6:5 WEB) God sees your heart and will reward you accordingly. (Matthew 6:4 WEB)

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
