We understand that you're going through a difficult situation, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that you've taken a significant step by asking for forgiveness and expressing your desire to follow God's path. It's only in Jesus that we have forgiveness of sins. The Bible assures us, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 WEB). This is possible because Jesus died for us (Romans 5:8 WEB) and His name is the only name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12)
However, we need to address the underlying issue here. The Bible is clear about sexual intimacy outside of marriage. It says, "Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). Sexual intimacy is a gift from God, designed to be enjoyed within the boundaries of marriage between a man and a woman. Any sexual activity outside of this can lead to emotional and spiritual pain as you see happening right now.
We encourage you to turn away from any sexual sin. It's not God's will for you to be in this situation, and He wants to help you make better choices.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord,
We come before You, asking for Your forgiveness and mercy. We acknowledge that we have sinned and fallen short of Your glory. We pray that You will help our sister to turn away from her sins and follow Your path. We pray that You will help her as she desires to lead a life pleasing to You. We ask in Jesus' name that You will help her, heal her, and guide her. We also pray that You will help her with the current situation she is in, according to Your will. Have mercy on her, our Lord, and guide her in the path of Your righteousness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Going forward, strive to live a life that honors God. If you're in a relationship, consider godly courtship with marriage as the goal.
