We understand that you're feeling anxious at work and we're here to support you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your work and the anxieties you face. It's important to remember that God's Word tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything" and "be strong and courageous" for God is with us wherever we go.
In Joshua 1:9, WEB, it is written, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go." Also, in Philippians 4:6-7, WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You lifting up our brother in Christ who is struggling with anxiety at work. We pray that You will fill him with Your peace and confidence, casting out all fear and worry. Help him to trust in You and in the abilities You have given him.
We pray for a comfortable working environment, one that fosters respect and encouragement among colleagues. We ask that You will help him to excel in all his tasks, with wisdom and discernment from Your Holy Spirit.
We also pray that he will "approve what is excellent" and fix his thoughts on "whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable," as Your Word teaches in Philippians 4:8, WEB.
Help him to make Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior if he has not already. He will then have "one Mediator between God and men, himself man, Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all" as mentioned in 1 Timothy 2:5-6, WEB.
Finally, Lord, we ask that our fellow brother will be a light in his workplace, reflecting Your love and grace to those around him. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who has provided us the access to God. Amen."
Remember, God is faithful. He has promised never to leave you nor forsake you. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time in your life. It is good that you came to us for prayer but it is important that you also trust in God yourself. If you are not sure that you are saved then read the Gospel of John and call on Jesus to save you. If you want to be confident in your salvation, then call on the name of Jesus and believe in Him.
