We are here with you, Aparnateus, in this time of need. Let us first assure you that your feelings of anxiety and low self-esteem are not uncommon, but they are not God's will for your life. We are called to have the mind of Christ, and His mind is not one of anxiety or low self-worth.
Let us look at what the Scriptures say. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Also, in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Do not give place to the spirit of fear. Fear and anxiety can erode one's self-esteem. Consider this the rebuke to Satan on your behalf for any stronghold of doubt and self esteem placed upon you.
Remember, we are all made in God's image Genesis 1:26-27 WEB, and He has given each of us unique gifts and talents. Jesus Christ came so that we may have life and have it abundantly in John 10:10. Unfortunately, the result of sin is anxiety, restlessness and low confidence. Our access to God is only by the name of Jesus in John 14:6 and Acts 4:12. No other name or path will do.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Aparnateus, who is feeling overwhelmed by anxiety and low self-esteem. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety which is not from you in 2 Timothy 1:7. We ask, Father, that You would remind them of their true worth and value in Your eyes. You see them always and have a plan and purpose that is always for good for those who are called according to your purpose as revealed in Romans 8:28. Help them to cast all their worries and concerns upon You in 1 Peter 5:6 and 7 in exchange for your peace that surpasses understanding in Philippians 4:7. We pray that Aparnateus will know how good of a God that you are in Psalm 34:8. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Lord, Savior and soon coming King we pray. Amen.
Aparnateus, as you turn to God and His truth, remember that He is always with you, strengthening and guiding you. He sees you and loves you. Stand against the devil's lies. When you feel yourself low for God has not given us a spirit of fear. Confess this always and you shall see your confidence return. Be true in your heart to Jesus and in Him you shall always be excellent and approved.
I hope everyone can note that this is a common theme for anyone struggling in their daily walk.
