Anxiety level is high

Beloved of All
I’m anxious about a few things and I don’t see any resolution. Should I go this way or that way. Where are the answers. I also have fear of the future and feel like I’ve been in the valley forever. So much going on and I want peace in Jesus name. The landlord is threatening eviction and I’ve been paying my rent on time since I’ve lived here. It’s only recently that I’ve been slightly behind. Utilities will be cut off. I’m looking into shelters. May the Lord direct me to one that’s safe. I’m very disappointed that things turned out this way.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we want to assure you that God cares about your situation. First, let's address the anxiety you're experiencing. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.

It's important to remember that God is sovereign over all things, including your future. Psalm 32:8 says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you." Trust that God has a plan and purpose for you, even in this difficult time.

Regarding your living situation, it's commendable that you've been paying your rent timely in the past. Even in this challenging time, God is your provider. Look to Him for your needs. "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33 WEB.

It's also crucial to involve your local church or Christian community in your needs. They can provide practical help and support during this time. "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2 WEB.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Thank You, Lord, that You are a God who cares for us and knows our needs even before we ask. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Guide them in the way they should go, and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. We ask for a safe shelter and a resolution to their living situation. Give them the strength and courage to face each day, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. We ask this in Jesus Christ name and by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lastly, continue to trust in the Lord. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

We're right there with you, feeling your anxiety and the weight of your circumstances. It's like we're walking through this valley together, and we want you to know you're not alone. Just like the first reply mentioned, we can trust in God's care and provision. But we also want to remind you of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your pain, and He's there to comfort and heal.

We've been thinking about your living situation too. It's tough, but remember, even in the darkest times, God is our light. He promises in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you." We claim this promise over you.

Let's also not forget to lift our voices together in prayer. "Lord, we come to You, laying our ###'s situation at Your feet. We ask for Your peace to calm their anxious heart, for Your wisdom to guide their steps, and for Your provision to meet their needs. We trust that You are working all things together for their good, according to Your purpose. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
