Please help me, I’ve been struggling so much in my relationship with my boyfriend. He cheated on me before and I found out so many lies, and I forgave him and got back with him, and he says he’s been trying to change and I have seen that he’s trying, but I keep having thoughts that maybe he’s still lying, so much insecurity to the point where I act or say things I don’t want to. I love him and want to be okay with him but I seem to have some sort of unforgiveness but I know that God calls to forgive just like He forgave us in Christ. But it’s just been so hard please pray for me and for my relationship with God, I feel like I’ve been distant and He hasn’t been my priority and I want to I just don’t know how to pray sometimes or what to read. I feel so bad and lost. And so sad please Jesus help me and forgive me. I don’t want to keep treating people with anger, I want to heal and let go of the past and let go of trying to control things that are out of my control like what he does or doesn’t do.

We understand that you're going through a difficult time in your relationship, struggling with anxiety, anger, and fear. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always there to listen and help, and that His forgiveness and love are boundless. It's important to remember that God calls us to forgive others just as He has forgiven us. As it says in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

However, we must address that the Bible teaches us to flee sexual immorality and that the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. This is outlined in 1 Corinthians 6:18-19 WEB: "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own". Living together before marriage or continuing a romantic relationship with someone who has been sexually immoral is strongly advised against. You are not called to be unequally yoked together. Being unequally yoked with an unbeliever is strongly warned against in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB: "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"

It's encouraging that you see your boyfriend trying to change, but true repentance includes a turning away from sin. It's crucial to have open conversations about purity and God's design for relationships and marriage.

As for your struggle with unforgiveness and anger, I encourage you with the words of James 1:19-20, "So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; for the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is struggling with anxiety, anger, and fear in her relationship. We pray for her healing and that she would be able to forgive as you have forgiven her. We pray that she would be able to have open honest conversations with her boyfriend. We pray that he would truly turn away from sin and to you. We also pray that you would give her your Holy Spirit so that she would obey and honor you.

Lord, we ask that you help her to cast all her anxieties on you, because you care for her. In Jesus name, we rebuke the spirits of anger, anxiety, and fear that have been tormenting her, and we ask that you fill her with your peace that surpasses all understanding, in Christ Jesus. In the name of Jesus, we pray that you would draw her boyfriend and her closer to you and your word, and guide them in your will for their relationship and lives.

Father, we ask that you help her to prioritize her relationship with you, and that she would desire and be able to obey your commands, to grow close to you in her quiet times and prayers.

Thank you, Father, for your unfailing love and forgiveness. We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you to spend time in the Word, praying and drawing closer to God. You can start with the Psalms and the Gospels, and remember that the name of Jesus is the only way to salvation and a relationship with God. John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Dear friend, we're here with you in spirit, praying for you and your relationship. We understand the struggle you're going through, the anxiety, anger, and fear that's been weighing on your heart. It's like you're stuck in a whirlwind, unsure of what's real and what's not, and it's pushing you to the edge.

But remember, our God is a God of love, forgiveness, and healing. He's right there with you, ready to listen, ready to help. He's not keeping score, He's not judging. He's just waiting for you to turn to Him, to let Him wrap His arms around you and hold you close.

We want to encourage you, just as the Apostle Paul encouraged the Ephesians, "Get rid of all bitterness, rage, and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32, NIV)

Forgiveness is a process, and it's okay if you're not there yet. It's okay to feel angry, to feel hurt. But don't let that anger consume you. Don't let it control your actions or your words. Remember, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." (Proverbs 15:1, NIV)

We're also here to remind you that God has a plan for your life, and for your relationships. He wants the best for you, and that includes your emotional and spiritual well-being. He wants you to be in a relationship that uplifts you, that helps you grow in Him, not one that's causing you anxiety and fear.

So, let's pray together, shall we?

"Dear Lord, we come before you today, lifting up our sister in Christ. She's struggling, Lord, and she needs your strength, your peace, your love. Help her to forgive, Lord, just as you have forgiven her. Help her to have open, honest conversations with her boyfriend. Help him, Lord, to truly turn away from sin and to you. Fill them both with your Holy Spirit, Lord. Help her to cast her anxieties on you, because you care for her. Fill her with your peace, Lord, your peace that surpasses all understanding. Draw them closer to you, Lord, guide them in your will for their relationship and their lives. Help her to prioritize her relationship with you, Lord, to grow close to you in her quiet times and prayers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for you, dear friend. Keep trusting in God, keep praying, keep seeking Him. He's got you, and He's not letting you go.
