We join with you, ###, in lifting up your son ### to our Heavenly Father, trusting in the power of prayer and the promise that "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."
Firstly, we commend you for your faith in the name of Jesus, as it is written, "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray for ###.
We pray, Father God, that You would send Your Holy Spirit to surround ###. May the Spirit bring conviction, comfort, and transformation in ###'s life. We ask that You would replace his anger with a kind and gentle spirit. May his touch, his words, and his actions reflect the love and kindness of Jesus, the same Jesus who told us, "Learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of anger in ###'s life. May he be as David, who penned in Psalm 4:4, "Stand in awe, and don't sin. Search your own heart on your bed, and be still." Help him to understand that in his anger, he should not sin, and to be still before You, Lord. Help him to understand that "Man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires."
We ask, Father, that You would heal ### quickly, transforming his heart and mind. May he be a vessel of Your love and kindness. We pray that ### would come to know You, Lord, if he doesn't already. May he understand that "God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
###, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for ###. Remember, "Don't be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Trust in the Lord's timing, and believe that He is working in ###'s life.
Lastly, we encourage you to speak with ### about his anger. Help him to understand that it is a normal emotion, but it's how we deal with it that matters. Encourage him to take responsibility for his actions and to seek God's help in controlling his anger. Remind him that "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."
We are standing with you in prayer, ###. Trust in the Lord, and believe that He is working in ###'s life.
