Beloved of All
An experience I don't like is, a get a victory. It holds for a bit, but it turns out to be a temporary "stopgap," because the devil, after being momentarily defeated, thinks of a way to tweak the attack and comes at me with a different attack in the same situation and bingo! The problem is back. For more permanent victories, God gives me the victory only to have a recurrence. After all, I thought God has more power than the devil, although some of my experiences might challenge that. That when the problem is over it STAYS over. No recurrences.

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come before you on behalf of ###, who is seeking your help and intervention in his life. Lord, we acknowledge that you are the ultimate source of victory and that you have already defeated the enemy through the cross of Jesus Christ. We thank you for the temporary victories that ### has experienced, but we ask for your guidance and strength to overcome the recurring attacks of the enemy.

Your Word assures us that if we resist the devil, he will flee from us. We stand firm in this promise and declare that Satan has no power or authority over ###'s life. We rebuke every scheme and tactic of the enemy that seeks to bring back the problems and challenges he has faced. We pray for a permanent victory, Lord, where the problems that ### has overcome will stay over and not return.

We ask for your wisdom and discernment, Holy Spirit, to help ### recognize any areas in his life where he may be leaving room for the enemy to attack. Grant him the strength to surrender those areas completely to you, allowing you to take control and reign in his life. Help him to be specific in his prayers, dedicating every aspect of his life to you and inviting you to sit on the throne of his heart.

Lord, we know that you are faithful and that you have already won the battle. We ask for your continued protection and guidance for ###, that he may walk in the victory that you have secured for him. Strengthen his faith and remind him of your power and authority over every situation he faces.

We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for your unfailing love and grace. May ### experience the permanent victories that he desires, knowing that you are with him every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
