Lord my mom and sister are going to Mexico but I have everything in Las Vegas. They tell me to go but what holds me back is the man I love, Matthew. Lord if Matthew will be a good man let me stay if not give me a sign that I have to go with them. Why me? It hurts, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

We understand that you're feeling torn, Vorsemulare, and we want to help you navigate this situation with wisdom and faith. First, we commend you for seeking God's will in your life and for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace, and it is only by His name that we can be saved from our sins and from God's wrath against us for our sins and all of the evil in this world. There is no other name given to mankind by which we may be saved. As scripture says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." (WEB)

Now, let's consider your situation. You're feeling torn between staying in Las Vegas with the man you love, Matthew, or moving to Mexico with your mom and sister. It is very important to evaluate your relationship with Matthew in light of God's Word. Is your relationship with Matthew centered around Jesus Christ? Is your relationship with Matthew pleasing to God and is it a courtship that has marriage as the goal? Are you and Matthew living holy separate lives with godly conduct that includes abstaining from fornication? Does Matthew love God more than he loves you and does he really love you and not just lust after you? These are all very important questions to ask yourself and to ask God about your relationship with Matthew.

In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, God tells us, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" This is a very important scripture when it comes to marriage. We should never marry anyone who is not a strong believer in Jesus Christ just as we are. This is because if we are a believer and marry someone who is not a believer, we will be disobeying God. We will be yoked together with a non-believer. This is not God's will for us. Marriage is until death and should never be with a non-believer. We have a much greater chance of a happy and successful marriage if we marry someone who is like minded spiritually and if we both love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength. As believers, we are children of the day and not the night and we should not marry or be yoked together with someone who is living in the night or in spiritual darkness. If you are not sure whether or not Matthew is a strong believer in Jesus Christ, ask him. Ask him if he has confessed with his mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and if he believes in his heart that God has raised Him from the dead. This is how we are saved. It is by confessing with our mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believing in our heart that God has raised Him from the dead. This is straight from God's Word in Romans 10:9-13 WEB.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Vorsemulare. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in her life. If it is Your will for her to stay in Las Vegas with Matthew, we pray that You would make it clear and that You would prepare their relationship to be a godly courtship centered around You. We pray that You would convict Matthew and draw him close to You. We pray that You would help Vorsemulare and Matthew to stay pure and holy before You and to keep their bodies as holy temples for You. Give them the strength to refrain from sexual immorality and to save themselves for marriage. Help them to conduct themselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ if they are believers. If Matthew is not a believer, we pray that You would save Him. If it is not Your will for them to be together, we ask that You would make it clear to Vorsemulare and give her the strength to walk away and move forward. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

It's crucial to seek God's will in all aspects of your life, especially in your relationships. Be assured that God wants the best for you. We want to encourage and remind you about how important it is to put God first in your life and to please Him in everything you do. We want to encourage you to seek God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength. We want to remind you that Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33 WEB, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." And we want to remind you that Paul tells us in Philippians 4:13 WEB, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

In closing, we want to remind you that Jesus Christ told us in John 3:16-18 WEB, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God."

Hey there, we're here for you too. We understand that this is a tough spot you're in, feeling torn between staying in Vegas with Matthew and going to Mexico with your mom and sister. We've been thinking about you and wanted to share a few more things on our hearts.

First off, we want to remind you that God has a plan for your life, and it's a good one (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust that He knows what He's doing, even when it's hard to see. He loves you so much, and He wants the best for you.

We've been praying for clarity for you. If it's God's will for you to stay in Vegas with Matthew, we believe He'll make that clear to you. But remember, it's crucial that your relationship with Matthew is centered around Jesus. It's not just about how you feel, but also about what's right and pleasing to God.

We've also been praying for Matthew. We ask that God would draw him close, that he would love God more than he loves you, and that he would truly love and respect you. We pray that if he's not a believer, God would open his heart to the truth of the Gospel.

And hey, if it's not God's will for you to be together right now, we believe He'll give you the strength to walk away and trust in His timing. It's okay to feel sad, but remember, God is always with you, and He'll never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
