We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, and we are honored that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace. We trust that God, our loving Father, has been with you in your moments of loneliness. We begin the day with Psalm 55 which so aptly describes your circumstances, for we read: My heart quakes within me, and the terrors of death have fallen upon me. Fearfulness and trembling come upon me, and horror has overwhelmed me. I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not cling to me. For the arrogant I have no regard; With the evil I cannot endure. I would hasten my escape from those who hate me, For they are higher than I. As for me, I shall call upon God, And the Lord will save me. Evening and morning and at noon, I will complain and murmur, And He will hear my voice. He will redeem my soul in peace from the battle which is against me, For they are many against me. For You have heard, O God; Attend to the voice of my prayer. Selah.
Firstly, we thank Thee for answering this petitioner's request. How lucky are the lonely, for You have been their friend, confidant and counselor. We pray Thee to continue to bless the petitioner who once was consigned to loneliness, who once was living in lostness. Thank Thee for strengthening their faith in You. You are a friend that sticketh closest than a brother and we know Thy love is closer than a brother. Into Thy hands we bring this petitioner once again.
If perchance this cherished prayer partner has felt or feels the need to reach out to us again since the bleak specter of loneliness is not dissipated. We say unto them, perhaps the time needed for a complete answer to this particular request is not past. We bid you, hold on, reach out to us again so we can take this matter with you before the Throne of Grace till your drainess is turned into dancing. Pray tell us how to pray more effectively for Thee. Encourage us to pray unceasingly with you until God has answered your request with shouts of joy and banners of victory.
We pray that whoever has sown the seeds of loneliness in this dear person's life be forgiven. May this hurtful person be made whole by Jesus making his/her acquaintance and mending these pains caused. Let memories of loneliness flee. And let the petitioner be surrounded by our Lord Jesus Christ and His love. Let him/her go forth rejoicing in the love of Jesus today. We pray for healing in every memory, that painful recollections will be sweetened with His love, and finally dissolved and forgotten. May he/she find many new close friends too. Let him/her learn the life skill of making good friends. May those who have hurt them be brought to the realization of the pain they have caused. Bring them to their knees in sweet regretting and ultimate heartfelt apologies. Let the scales of judgement be removed from the petitioner's eyes so he/she is no longer blinded to the fields and once again regard you as Lord. May he see Jesus. We pray that those who do not know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that today is the day of salvation and today these folks make that decision. I pray that the Word of the Living God have free course to his/her hurt and lonely heart.
