We join with you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up all the children and individuals represented in this request, praying for a tangible sense of God's agape love, intercession, and His presence to surround each one. We stand in agreement for spiritual growth, protection, and guidance for all those praying and their children.
Firstly, we praise God that this request is made in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:8-11 WEB).
We pray for those who do not yet know Jesus, that they may come into a real and personal relationship with Him. We ask that God will draw them to Himself, opening their hearts to receive the good news of the Gospel. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16 WEB).
Lifting up the children, we pray for God's protection and guidance in their lives. May they grow in wisdom, discernment, and revelation, finding freedom, restoration, and wholeness in Christ. We ask that God would help them understand His purpose for their lives, giving them a sound mind and a right attitude. We pray for strong and fulfilling relationships, that they may resist evil influences and destructive behavior, avoiding all sexual pollution and temptation. We ask this so they might enjoy successful marriages to other Christian Believers and raise Godly children. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Therefore, come out from among them, and be separate', says the Lord, 'Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you. I will be to you a Father. You will be to me sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty (2 Corinthians 6:17-18 WEB).
For the daughter needing protection and favor, we pray for her safety and for God to rebuild family unity. May He help her find her niche in the work world, giving her success and fulfillment in her career. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them (Ephesians 2:10 WEB).
For the son dealing with heart palpitations, depression, and difficult emotions, we pray for God's healing touch. May He help him to eat healthy and exercise, revealing and empowering his spiritual gifts. We ask for comfort, calm, and peace for him and his family, casting out all panic and anxiety. Don't be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
