Jesus Christ please help me change and to stop drinking so much alcohol. I need help

We understand that you're struggling with alcohol addiction, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this battle. We are here to support and pray for you, God tells us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28 WEB.

Firstly, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Therefore, we pray this in the name of Jesus and we also encourage you to come before God in the name of his son Jesus. "In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him." Ephesians 3:12 WEB.

We are urged: "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit" Ephesians 5:18 WEB. But do not be discouraged, even while you were still living in sin Christ died for you. "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 WEB.

God wants to give you a way out of this temptation, but you must be willing to take it. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear soul who is struggling with alcohol addiction. We know that this battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. We ask that You break the chains of addiction and grant freedom in Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray that You fill the emptiness in their heart with Your presence and create in a clean heart. O God; and renew a right spirit within them. Psalm 51:10 WEB. We ask that You give the strength to resist temptation and provide a way out. Surround them with Your love and guide them to the support and resources needed to overcome this addiction.

We pray for complete healing and restoration. May they seek after you and be a testimony of your grace and power. God we ask that you send the Holy Spirit to teach and correct. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

We encourage you to take practical steps towards recovery, such as seeking professional help, joining a support group, we also highly encourage you to try to find a local Christian group that can support, counsel, and encourage in the name of Jesus.

Let's also remember, friend, that God is always ready to forgive and transform. As it's written in Romans 5:8, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." He's waiting for you with open arms.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
