We are truly saddened to hear about the pain and betrayal you are experiencing, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. First, we want to address the issue of adultery. The Bible is clear that adultery is a sin against God and your spouse. In the book of Hebrews 13:4 (WEB) it says, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled: for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
We will pray for your husband, that God would convict his heart and draw him to repentance. We also pray for you, that God would give you the strength and wisdom to handle this situation with grace and forgiveness. In the book of Ephesians 4:32 (WEB) it says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Regarding your friends who have deceived you and stolen from you, we want to remind you of the words of Psalm 41:9 (WEB), "Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who ate bread with me, has lifted up his heel against me." Even Jesus was betrayed by someone close to Him. We will pray for these friends of yours, that God would convict their hearts and bring them to repentance as well.
Here is our prayer for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is experiencing great pain and betrayal. Lord, we pray for her husband, that You would convict his heart and draw him to repentance. We pray for their marriage, that You would heal and restore it, that it may be a testament to Your faithfulness and grace. We pray for our sister, that You would give her the strength and wisdom to handle this situation with grace and forgiveness.
Lord, we also pray for the friends who have deceived and stolen from her. We pray that You would convict their hearts and bring them to repentance. We pray that You would surround our sister with godly friends who will support and encourage her.
Finally, Lord, we pray that our sister would keep her eyes fixed on You, that she would find her strength and hope in You alone. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. It is important to surround yourself with people who will encourage you and hold you accountable to God's Word.
