We are truly sorry to hear about your fiancé's struggle with alcoholism. This can be a challenging situation, but remember, there is hope and power in Jesus Christ.

Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God and be saved from sin. God's will is for our deliverance.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this beloved sister and her fiancé. Lord, we know that You are a God of deliverance, and no addiction is too strong for You to break. We pray that You would set her fiancé free from the bondage of alcoholism. Help him to see that You are the only one who can fill the void he is trying to fill with alcohol. Please give him the strength to overcome this addiction and to live a life that honors You.

We also pray for this sister, that You would give her the strength and wisdom to support her fiancé through this difficult time. Help her to be a light that guides him to You, the only source of true healing.

We pray:

Let the thief no more steal, but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need. Ephesians 4:28 (WEB)

Lord, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. So we ask for complete healing and restoration. These things we pray in Jesus Christ precious name. Amen

We encourage you to stand strong in your faith and to trust in the Lord's promise. We will continue to pray for you both.

Be alert and sober. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. I Peter 5:8-9 (WEB)

Please continue to pray together and when he is delivered from this addiction, the Lord can work in your marriage to be a blessing and testimony to others.
