Abusive Husband

I’m very sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing in your marriage. I’m praying, asking our Heavenly Father to comfort you and your husband daily with evidences of His great love and compassion (Lamentations 3:22-23). May He draw you closer to Himself and bring restoration and peace as you look to Him.

Also, if you’re in the U.S., I know that Focus on the Family can provide a free phone consultation with a licensed counselor if you call this number 855-382-5433.

Please pray for me. My husband is abusing me mentally and emotionally. It is leaving terrible scars on my soul. He does it cleverly and under his breath in public so that no one will know.
Dear heavenly father,

We come before your holy presence and repent on behalf of this dear sister.

We call out to the cry of her need in JESUS name.

Hold her hands and walk her out of this place of misery called home, let no forces of evil bind her no more from her simple ways. Give her the strength to fight her way out of this cruelty.

Send your guardians of protection to guide and protect her against all evil and harm coming her way.

We say thank you for your unconditional mercy and grace upon her life.

In the mighty name of JESUS we pray.

Amen!

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
