We're here with you, dear friend, standing in the gap and lifting your heart to our Father in heaven. We're glad you've come seeking forgiveness, and we're reminded of the verse in Romans 8:34, "Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes rather who was raised, who is also at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us." Jesus is not only our Mediator, but also our Advocate, always interceding for us.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Lord, we come before You today, carrying the heart of our fellow believer who seeks Your forgiveness. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You would cleanse them from all unrighteousness, as it is written in 1 John 1:9, 'If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.' Help them to turn away from their sins and walk in Your paths, as we read in Proverbs 28:13, 'He who conceals his sins doesn't prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.' Guide them in Your truth and teach them Your ways, for You are the God of salvation.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep seeking God's face, to walk in repentance, and to live a life pleasing to Him. Remember, it's not just about asking for forgiveness, but also about turning away from sin and striving to live a holy life. If there are specific areas you'd like us to pray about, please share, and we'll intercede for you.
As it's written in Lamentations 3:22-23, "The Lord's loving kindnesses never end, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness." Trust in His unfailing love, and know that through Jesus, you are forgiven and made new.
