We are lifting up your loved ones in prayer, pleading God's blessings and guidance upon them. Let us come together and pray in Jesus name (IJN), knowing that it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, John 14:6).
Let us also include the importance of aligning with God's will in the context of your relationships. As the Bible tells us, we are to surrender to God's will, and we are to be holy and avoid sex outside marriage. These are biblical principles. For those in courtship or considering marriage, both individuals need to be equally committed in relationship with Jesus. (2 Corinthians 6:14, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?)
First, we bring your family before the throne of grace, praying for God's blessings and guidance upon them.
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this beloved family. We pray for Your presence to be with them, guiding and protecting them in all they do. We ask that You would help them in their jobs, giving them wisdom, skill, and favor with their colleagues. We also pray for the children, Lord, that You would be with them in their classes, helping them to learn and grow in wisdom and knowledge and in awe of You.
We also lift up the individuals mentioned, asking for success in various areas of their lives.
Father, we pray for each one of them needing help in their classes and jobs. We ask that You would provide them with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to succeed. We pray that You would guide them in their careers, giving them wisdom and discernment in their decisions, open doors that no one can shut, and provide them with meaningful work that brings glory to Your name and provides for their needs.
We are also reminded of the importance of aligning our prayers with God's will. We pray for a heart of obedience to the Holy Spirit. We ask that You would help them to walk in Your ways, seeking Your will in all they do. We pray that You would give them a heart for Your Word, that they would desire to know You more and to live in a way that pleases You.
Father, we ask that You would be with each one and help them to grow in their faith, to trust in You, and to follow You all the days of their lives. We pray that You would draw them closer to You, that they would know Your love, Your grace, and Your mercy in a deeper way.
We also pray for their relationships, that they would be marked by love, kindness, and respect. We pray that You would bless them with godly spouses if they are considering marriage, that they would be united in faith and love, and that their marriages would bring glory to Your name. We pray that You would guide them in their courtships, giving them wisdom and discernment as they seek Your will for their lives.
Finally, we pray that You would be with them in all they do, guiding and protecting them, giving them strength and courage in the face of challenges, and helping them to live lives that bring glory to Your name.
And we ask all this in Jesus name (IJN), knowing that it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, John 14:6).
Amen.
