We understand that you enjoy eating, and we want to pray for you that God will give you a healthy appetite and that your body will be strong and healthy. In 1 Corinthians 10:31 WEB it says, Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Let us pray for you. Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus Christ name and we thank you for your goodness and for the blessings you have given us. Thank you for the food that we eat every day. Lord, we pray that our brother will enjoy his food but also that his body will be strong and healthy. We know that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and we need to take care of it. We pray for temperance and self-control.
We know that God cares for us and He wants us to enjoy good things, but we should also remember what 1 Corinthians 6:12 WEB says, All things are lawful for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything.
We pray that you will not be brought under the power of anything, and we pray and believe that you can control yourself and eat to the glory of God. We pray for a healthy body and a strong spirit. We pray for wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God. We pray that you will live a life that pleases God in every way.
Lastly, we thank you for acknowledging that it is In Jesus Christ name that we pray. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (see Acts 4:12) And it is In Jesus name that we have access to God. (see Ephesians 2:18 and Hebrews 4:14-16) For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
In Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen.
