Evil is a reality, and anything that influences our minds and spirits in a negative way should be avoided. Music can be powerful, uplifting, and worshipful, but it can also be harmful and promote ungodly messages.

Let us consider Ephesians 5:19: "Speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord," and Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."

We should pray for discernment and a desire for music that honors God. Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your deliverance and guidance. Help us to discern the music that enters our hearts and minds, and give us a desire for music that brings glory to You. Help us as individuals to have your standard to make all the music we consume be aligned with the truth and to flee from anything that does not align with Your will and the messages of Your holiness. Protect us from the evil influences of the world, and fill our hearts with the melody of Your love. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
