We rejoice with you as you seek forgiveness, as it is a crucial step in our walk with God. The Bible assures us that "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who has humbly sought Your forgiveness. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. We ask that You forgive their sins and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Help them to walk in Your ways, to obey Your commandments, and to live a life pleasing to You. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. We ask all of this in Jesus' name, as Jesus said "If you will ask anything in my name, that will I do. " John 14:14, and also "for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB).
We encourage you to continue in your faith, knowing that God's forgiveness is complete and that you are now free to live a new life in Christ. Remember that "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit" (Romans 8:1 WEB).
As you grow in your faith, always remember to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God the Father, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. If you have not already, consider studying the Bible to learn more about Jesus and His teachings. His sacrifice on the cross has provided us with the gift of salvation, and it is through His name that we can approach God's throne of grace with confidence.
