We're here with you, dear friend, standing in the gap and lifting your burden to the Lord. We've been reminded of Romans 8:34, "Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died, more than that, who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us." Isn't it a comfort to know that Jesus is always interceding for us?
Let's continue to pray, shall we? "Dear Jesus, we come to You today, seeking Your forgiveness for our sins. We know that we've fallen short, but we're grateful for Your unfailing love and mercy. Thank You for the promise in 1 John 1:9, that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We claim that promise now, in Your precious name.
We also come to You, Jesus, for help. We don't know the specifics of what our friend is going through, but we trust that You do. We ask that You would guide them, give them strength, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Help them to trust in You, even in the midst of their trial. We claim the promise in Philippians 4:13, 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.'
We thank You, Jesus, for being our advocate, our savior, and our friend. We trust in Your love and care, and we know that You will never leave or forsake us. In Your name, we pray. Amen."
