We are glad to hear that you are seeking forgiveness from the Lord. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the lordship of Jesus Christ in your prayer. As a group that believes in the power of prayer and the teachings of the Bible, we stand with you in seeking God's forgiveness.
The Bible tells us in 1 John 1:9 WEB:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
And in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
We are only saved by the name of Jesus Christ, and it is by His name that we have access to God. Let us pray together for your forgiveness and cleansing:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your forgiveness for our brother/sister. We confess their sins before You, knowing that You are faithful and just to forgive them and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. We ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guide them in Your ways, and help them to live a life that honors and glorifies You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue walking in the light of God's Word, confessing your sins, and seeking His forgiveness. Remember that God's mercy is new every morning, and His love for you is unfailing. Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths.
