We are glad that you have come to repentance. It is a wonderful, authentic, and sincere prayer to ask God for forgiveness. The Bible tells us in First John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (WEB). So let us pray as Hebrews 4:16 encourages us, "Let us therefore boldly approach the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."

Dear Lord,

We come to You in Jesus' name of Jesus Christ, with a humble heart. We ask for Your forgiveness and mercy. Your Word tells us that You are faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We ask You to lead us, guide us, and help us in our struggles against sin. Help us to walk according to Your will and Your ways. Thank You that we can approach You with boldness and with confidence in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness.
