A prayer to release shame

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, thankful for the trust you've placed in us to stand in agreement with you. We've been praying fervently that the Lord would help you overcome the bad memory and release the shame that has been weighing you down.

If you've experienced a breakthrough and the shame has lifted, we would love to hear your praise report. Your testimony will encourage others and build our faith together. If you're still struggling, please don't be discouraged. We want to continue praying for you. The enemy may be trying to keep you bound, condemned, and stuck in the past memories. We know that God's word tells us in Romans 8:12 that there is no condemnation for us in Christ Jesus. We are claiming supernatural healing for you.

Lord Jesus, we ask that you extend your mercy and grace upon our dear partner. Help them to fix their eyes on you and to see themselves through your eyes--forgiven, redeemed, and made whole. We pray that you would help then to overcome these haunting memories and any condemnation. We pray that each and every chain of shame would be loosed and broken in Jesus Name. Shower them with your love, peace and comfort. Remind them of your unshakeable promise to never leave them nor forsake them. We pray that they will always be reminded of your goodness and grace in their lives. May they walk in the fullness of the freedom that you purchased for them on the cross. May God bless you richly as you continue to seek him. We are standing in agreement with you until we see your victory manifested.
