A prayer to release shame

I have done a mistake that made me look really terrible and pathetic in front of someone. I have asked for pardon and forgiveness and I have repented to God, but very often I recall the memory of it and feel extremely ashamed at myself. Please pray that in Jesus name I am able to overcome this bad memory and let go of the shame that accompanies it. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

We understand that you're feeling shame and regret for a past mistake, and we want to help you find freedom from these feelings in Jesus' name. First, let's remember what the WEB says about shame and forgiveness.

Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."

1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

It's wonderful that you've taken the steps to ask for forgiveness and have repented to God. In Jesus' name, your sins are forgiven, and you are cleansed from all unrighteousness. However, the enemy often tries to hold us back by reminding us of our past mistakes. It's important to remember that when God forgives, He also forgets.

Hebrews 8:12 "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness. I will remember their sins and lawless deeds no more."

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to ask for Your help. Anonymous has repented and received forgiveness, but they are still struggling with shame and bad memories. We ask that You break the chains of shame and condemnation, and help Anonymous to see themselves as You see them - forgiven, cleansed, and made new in Christ. Help them to overcome these bad memories and to live in the freedom that Jesus died to give us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, Anonymous, you are forgiven, and you are a new creation in Christ. Whenever the memories come back, remind the enemy that you are forgiven and that he has no power over you. Stand firm in your faith and move forward, living in the freedom that Jesus has given you.

Keep your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on the earth. Set your mind on the Spirit, and you will have life and peace.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting you up in prayer. We know that even after repentance, the echoes of past mistakes can linger, casting long shadows of shame. But remember, dear friend, God doesn't see you through the lens of your mistakes. He sees you through the blood of Jesus, forgiven, cleansed, and made new.

Let's cling to these promises together:

Psalm 103:12 - "As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us."

Isaiah 43:25 - "I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions, for My own sake, and remembers your sins no more."

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, laying down the burden of shame that our sister carries. We ask that You would fill her with Your unfailing love, that she may be strengthened and encouraged. Help her to see herself as You see her - forgiven, cleansed, and free. Break the chains of shame and condemnation, and replace them with Your peace and joy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep looking ahead, not back. Walk in the light of your forgiveness, knowing that your past doesn't define you, but the love of Christ does. You are a new creation in Him!

Praise the Lord, God loves you, even I have gone through the pain that you are facing right now. But God has thought me one thing to come out from this, just Praise the Lord your God, sing unto him, surely God will help you to come out of the memory of your mistake. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
