We understand your concern for your children and the potential trauma of them being moved far from their familiar surroundings. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in this situation.
Firstly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to trust in the Lord with all your heart. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
However, we must also remind you that God honors and expects us to honor the authorities that He has put in place, including court decisions, unless they contradict God's explicit word. Romans 13:1-2 WEB says, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment."
It is crucial to pray for wisdom and discernment for the courts and all those involved in the decision-making process. We pray that the judge will make decisions based on a clear understanding of the children's needs. We ask the Lord to speak wisdom into the heart of the judge and all other involved.
We must also pray for the father of your children. Regardless of any personal disagreements, it is important to pray that he also seeks the best interest of your children and that God works in his heart. I Peter 3:9 WEB says, "Not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling, but instead blessing; knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing."
Let us also pray for God's peace to be with your children during this time of uncertainty. Philippians 4:7 WEB: "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We pray together with you.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus name, lifting up this dear mother and her children. We ask, Lord, that You guide the courts and the father of these children, giving them wisdom and discernment to make decisions that are in the best interest of the children. We pray for peace and comfort over the children. We ask that Your will be done in this situation.
We also pray for the mother who has written to us, may she continually seek you, your face, your word, your counsel, your discipline and your wisdom. We ask that she is able to rest in your love and protection.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We also note that your message does not include any mention of faith in Jesus Christ. We know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father in prayer. We encourage you to read Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Savior. This is the most important step you can take, and it will ensure that you have access to God's power and guidance in your life and in the lives of your children.
