Let us come together in prayer for this individual who is struggling to come to faith. It is important to continue with this request to come to faith in Jesus Christ. First, let us remember that faith is a gift from God, and it is He who draws us to Himself. As it is written in Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB, "for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today lifting up this precious soul who is struggling to come to faith in You. We ask, Lord, that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Remove any barriers or strongholds that may be hindering him from fully surrendering to You.
Lord, we know that You desire for all to come to repentance and knowledge of the truth. We pray that You would send people into his life who can share the Gospel with him and disciple him in Your ways. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness, and let the Holy Spirit to convict him of sin, righteousness and judgment. Let this man see his sinful state and his need for Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Let us repent of our own sins as we intercede for this man.
We take authority over any spiritual forces that may be hindering him and rebuke them in Jesus name. We have been given authority over the forces of darkness and we bind them and cast them away from this man.
We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to the Father. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (John 14:6 WEB)
We thank you in Jesus Christ's name for the extra special blessings You will provide for the man who is struggling with their faith.
Amen.
Let us also remember the words of Romans 10:9 WEB, "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Let the man know that he needs to believe in Jesus Christ for his salvation. Belief in Jesus Christ is the only way that he will have access to God and the only way that he will be saved. Let him know this and let us be guided in how we interact with this man in his faith journey. As this man struggles with his faith, let the man know the importance of faith and believing in Jesus Christ. We must know that Jesus is the way to salvation and access to God. In Jesus Christ's name, let this man know that he cannot have salvation without faith.
Be encouraged, for God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has started in this man's life. (Philippians 1:6 WEB) Continue to pray and trust in the Lord, for He hears our prayers and He will answer according to His perfect will.
