We stand with you in prayer for our precious brother who has lost his mother and now faces a complex family situation regarding his inheritance. We pray that God will grant him favor and wisdom, guiding him through this challenging time.
Let us embrace God's call to love one another with a pure heart, fervently. As we read in 1 Corinthians 13:1-3, "If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don't have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don't have love, I am nothing. If I dole out all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don't have love, it profits me nothing."
We ask that the Lord will help our brother walk more and more in the love of Christ, reflecting His character in all he does. We pray for insight and understanding into God's ways, as Proverbs 2:3 tells us, "Yes, if you call out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding..."
In Jesus' name, we ask for God's guidance and provision in the inheritance process. We pray that our brother will be surrounded by godly counsel and that peace will reign in his family. Colossians 1:9-11, "For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don't cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy..."
We thank God for the promise of blessing as we bless others, as it is written in Luke 6:38, "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you." We also claim the promise in Job 42:10, "Yahweh turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends.
We also pray for the children of Abraham, the Children of Israel especially since our savior Jesus Christ will return there. Lord bless Israel.
Finally, we echo the prayer for harvesters to be sent into God's harvest, as recorded in Matthew 9:38, "Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out workers into his harvest."
We praise God for the opportunity to intercede on behalf of our brother, trusting that the Lord will abundantly bless him and his family during this time.
