Let us join together in lifting up ###, ###, ###, and ### as they prepare for their exams and seek scholarships to study in England.
Firstly, we acknowledge the source of all wisdom and knowledge, Christ Jesus. It is in His name we pray, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We pray that ###, ###, ###, and ### will seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and that all these things—including academic success—will be added to them, as promised in Matthew 6:33 WEB:
"But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We ask God to grant them the spirit of wisdom and revelation, that they may know Him better. We pray that the eyes of their hearts may be enlightened in order that they may know the hope to which He has called them, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people (Ephesians 1:17-18 WEB).
We rebuke any form of idolatry where the desire for academic success or studying abroad causes their eyes and hearts to wander away from God. Let God be the center of their lives and the focus of their desires, and may He grant them the desires of their hearts as they delight in Him (Psalm 37:4 WEB).
We pray for their exams, that God would bring to their remembrance all that they have studied, and we are confident in His response to our prayers from I John 5:14-15 WEB:
"This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Regarding their desire to study in England, we pray for God's will to be done. We ask that He would open doors that no man can shut, and shut doors that no man can open. May He guide their steps and order their path, for we know that a man's steps are established by the Lord (Proverbs 20:24 WEB).
Lastly, we encourage ###, ###, ###, and ### to trust in the Lord with all their hearts, and lean not on their own understanding. In all their ways, let them acknowledge Him, and He will make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
