We understand your heart's cry for your parents, and we join you in lifting them up to the Lord. It's wonderful that you're seeking God's forgiveness and protection for them. As the Bible tells us, "Honor your father and your mother, as Yahweh your God commanded you; that your days may be long, and that it may go well with you, in the land which Yahweh your God gives you" (Deuteronomy 5:16 WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and forgiveness for our parents. We pray that You would be with them, comforting and guiding them according to Your will. Lord, we ask for Your protection over them, that You would keep them safe from all harm. We trust that You have good plans for them, plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Help them to turn to You and seek You with all their hearts. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying for your parents and to trust that God hears your prayers. Remember, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much" (James 5:16 WEB). If you haven't already, consider sharing the Gospel with them, as it's only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have eternal life (John 3:16 WEB).
If there are any specific concerns or struggles that your parents are facing, we're here to help you pray through those as well. Stay strong in the Lord, and keep your hope in Him.
